Friends and Family

I like to save my shopping trips for when I receive a coupon in my inbox for a friends and family weekend. I sign up for mailing lists for stores that I shop frequently (you can do this from the store website). Then when I get really good coupons (like ones that don't require that I spend a certain amount), I go shopping at that store's clearance rack. Labor Day weekend I got my son 5 pairs of shorts for next summer at Carter's for 11 dollars and change (clearance rack, plus an extra 20% all clearance, plus an extra 25% off my entire purchase for Friends and Family weekend).
